Bu masal etkinliği bize ilham ve ışık olan Noor un Nisa İnayat Khan’ın yıllar önce derlemiş olduğu Jataka Masalları sayesinde oldu. Bu masallar Uzak Doğu’da söylene gelen fabl türündedir. İçinde kadim bilgelik izleri taşır. Kitap içinde yirmi masal vardır. Kitap çok yakında Türkçe’ye kazandırılacak, çevirisi tamamlandı.
Bu masallardan bir seçki oluşturularak İstanbul Çatalca Gökçeali köyündeki çocuklara ve ağaçlara masal etkinliği kapsamında anlatıldı.
Çocuklar daha sonra kendi masallarını kendi seçtikleri ağaçlara söylediler, etrafına arı tohumları ektiler ve böylece bu ağaçların çevresinde açacak çiçeklere konacak arılar ve kelebekler masalların büyüsünü etrafa yaymaya devam edecek.
Jataka Uzak Asya’da yeniden doğum anlamına gelir, “hakikat olan” farklı formlar ve biçimlerde tekrar tekrar evrende kendini ifade eder, bu kitaptaki masallarda çoğunlukla hayvanların dilinden bilgelik anlatılır. Her bir masal Himalayaların esintilerini getirir. Hem büyüklerin hem de küçüklerin keyifle okuyup dinleyebileceği masallardır. Noor un Nisa Inayat Khan’ın hayatı da bu masallardaki gibi fedakârlık, cesaret ve liderlik örneklerini taşır. Noor un Nisa Batıya ilk gelen Sufi ustalarından Hazret Inayat Khan’ın büyük kızıdır.
Noor un Nisa kısacık hayatını tıpkı bu masalların özü gibi yaşadı. Cesaret, adanmışlık, liderlik, alperenlik ve hizmet etme aşkı ile dolu bir yaşam sürdü. Çocuklara hikaye kitapları yazdı, şairdi, müzikler besteledi.
Kendisinin 11 yaşında iken yazdığı “Kelebekler” şiiri daha sonra bestelendi. Bu videoda iki farklı enstrümanla aynı melodi yer alıyor. “Ney” ve “Piyano”.
Müziklerinde destekleri için özel yorumlarıyla usta Neyzen Fatih Oral’a ve orkestra şefi sevgili Tarana Jobin’e en derin teşekkürlerimizi gönderiyoruz. Sevgili Tarana her zamanki alçakgönüllü haliyle, derin müzik bilgisiyle, harika sesiyle ve piyanosuyla yanımızda oldu.

This fairy tale event for children happened thanks to Jataka Tales which was retold by Noor un Nisa Inayat Khan many years ago, which inspired and enlightened us. These tales are the Far East fables. Each one carries the traces of ancient wisdom. The book consists of twenty fairy tales and will be translated into Turkish very soon, its translation has been completed.
A selection of these tales was told to the children and trees in Istanbul Çatalca (District)- Gökçeali village as part of a fairy tale activity. Then, they told their own tales to the trees they chose, planted bee seeds around them, so that the bees and butterflies that will land on the flowers that will bloom around these trees will continue to spread the magic of the tales.
Jataka means rebirth in Far Asia, “truth” expresses itself in different forms and forms over and over in the universe, the tales in this book mostly convey wisdom from the language of animals. Each tale brings the breezes of the Himalayas. These are fairy tales that both adults and children can read and listen to with pleasure. The life of Noor un Nisa Inayat Khan also carries examples of sacrifice, courage and leadership as in these tales. Noor un Nisa is the eldest daughter of Hazrat Inayat Khan who is the one of the first Sufi masters to come to the West.
Noor un Nisa lived her short life just like the essence of these fairy tales. She wrote story books for children, was a poet, also composed music.
The poem “Butterflies”, which she wrote when she was 11 years old, was later composed by Yusuf Van Ingen. The video below features the same melody with two different instruments. “Ney” and “Piano”
